Matt Chandler Journalist Informational Picture
Matt Chandler: Freelance Information

As the father of two children, Matt has long had an interest in reading as much as he could on parenting. Early on, prior to the birth of his first child, Matt noticed there was a lack of articles written from a dad's perspective. It seemed like the majority of articles were written for women, by women.

Matt decided to carve out a niche looking at various parenting topics through the eyes of a dad. Since he began, he has tackled topics ranging from co-sleeping to breastfeeding to humorous looks at every aspect of life as a dad. His work has appeared in various newspapers throughout New York as well as regional magazines. Most recently he penned an essay on being a stay-at-home dad that was published in the best-selling book series, Chicken Soup for the Soul.
